Hi All,

I'm wondering if folks can provide some guidance here on how to approach a texture/shading problem I have atm.

I'm trying to get close to as possible the "PIXAR EVE" white gloss look, in that it's kind of almost porcelin but at the same time high gloss white.

The closest I have come is this look; but it's still off and i can't put my finger on what exactly it is that's off and at the same time how to implement changes to accomdate?

I'd get something more interesting to reflect in there. Notice the super bright highlights on your Eve reference, these are missing from your render. So either do normal highlights with several lights with their diffuse set to off, or get a more intense environment map to reflect, preferably something with some super bright spots.

Good points, I'll take a crack at that now.

It also has a subsurface affect to make it look like translucent. If you notice around the edges, that light is actually entering the surface.

Oh! If you look really closely, Eve's highlights are slightly blue. Make the specularity a really light shade of blue.
