My first post here, just wondering what you guys thought of this:

This is about my 3rd try at this so any tips/tricks would be welcome.

Very, very nice. My head moved back when I saw this, somehow you've managed to make the face seem to come out from the picture.

The hair could maybe do with a little more detail as it looks a little soft and dry, although maybe this is what adds to the pop out effect of the face.

The skin tone looks really good, although the skin seems very smooth almost too perfect, especially the forehead. Hmmm I'm a bit of a n00b when it comes to Photoshop but what about adding a 1.5 to 2% noise filter to the skin layer?

I like the start, but it seems a bit flat. I think darker darks and lighter lights would help give the piece more depth (this is something I struggle with all the time)

cool man....but i think the eye brown got some problems...
and the upper lips also....... i think overall looks a little fake becoz of without the hair shadow....the forehead part looks alitle fake.try to put more details....u still need some touch up 4 this....

This looks cool.
A few things missing tho:

Darker shadows to add depth in detailed areas, such as where the lips meet, under the eyes and in the eye sockets, ears etc(looks very clean)
A little blemish here and there and noise as mentioned by Lex would make her look a bit more life like
Eyelashes
More specular highlights on the eyes to make them look more wet - a good tip is to put it a very faint reflection of the bottom eye lid or cheek across the bottom of the eyeball (a tiny detail, but makes a huge difference - see pic below)

Same for specs, but to look shiny, not wet
Specs' shadow cast on her face - they'd 'integrate' better

Hope this helps. It looks fantastic so far!! Looking forward to seeing it finished.:)
