View Full Version : getting shaders into the tray at the bottom of hypershade

if you have the shader library installed, they show up at the bottom of the hypershade. can i do the same thing with downloaded shaders, say from denfo?

Yes you can.

In the Hypershade "Tabs" menu, select "Create New Tab..." and point it to a directory on your disk where you store the shaders

sweet. that worked, i just need to figure out why each icon is displayed the way it is. it seems that swatches are not being displayed properly but with my first exploration i think i figured it out. thanks a bunch for the tip! now i can DL all those shaders i want and have them on hand in the UI!
