Being a Ex Softimage user, i was wondering is the csh/bin command will work using Maya's batchrender.

Exemple:

--------------------------------------

!#/csh/bin

render -s 1 -e 30 marde.ma

wait (unix only)

render -s 1 -e 30 marde2.ma

wait (unix only)

render -s 1 -e 30 marde3.ma

--------------------------------------

All this into a .DAT named notepad.

This was working perfectly with Softimage "SOFT -R" command.
