Can't we make photoreal images without plugins? :scream:

I've done these with Default Scanline Render of 3dmax4
what do you think?

all Raytrace material- generally 3 or 4 spots and nothing else
render Times on Amd2000 machine:
img1: 2 min
img2: 55 sec
img3: 15 sec :)

used photoshop for color correction and post effects
hope you like them...

Wow! Impressive modelling :p

No seriously, you can get some pretty good results using the default scanline renderer, and the raytrace material in max is very nice! :)

But for more complicated scenes, especially indoor scenes I think renderers with radiosity or GI has some great advantages!
