My mental ray on maya 5 works great on any scene, but this one gives me headache. I ave modeled casino roulette mostli from nurbs with a lambretz shader assignet to it, no lights no textures, and i tied to reder it with final gather MR. it renders the image but when it allmost finish maya cloe with no reason and no warning msgs. I sent the file to my friend and there was the same.

I deleted the history exported as .ma fileand still nothing.

Can somebody help.

using displacement?

how is the mem usage?

you can try to lower the mem used by mental in the render globals.
that might help but is only wild guessing
