CGTalk - Shadows with paint effect objects

Hi,

I saw shadows settings in the paint effect brushes, I tried a lot of configuration in the shadow settings of the light too, but I can't get any nice shadows for my paint FX objects.
Is it possible to use raytrace shadows with it ? (without converting to polys)

Ok I figured it out by myself but now I try to batch render my anim and the strokes (palms mesh strokes) doesn't have at all the same aspect in the batch and in the frame renderer. The batch renderer seems to forget the alpha of the leaves.

Any advice on this ? I found nothing in the help.
