Hey everyone,

I saw this video on the greyscale gorilla blog and really liked the effect (the first video), does anyone know how to acheive this? I don't want to seem lazy but i've been scouriung the web for this effect and I can't find it anywhere. If anyone know what it's called and/or any tutorials on it that could get me started that'd be awesome.

and congrats to the guy/girl whose video I'm talking about, it won the contest greyscale gorilla was having. And congrats to the runner up as well, his/her video was sweet as well.

You could use any number of effects to achieve that - vector paint, paint, write-on or even liberal use of simple masks. I would storyboard the idea out first so you have some idea of what you are trying to achieve.
