Would any one be interested in a plugin that allows the user to select up to ten documents to render (similar to batch rendering) and for each document it allows the user to select which camera and render setting in that document that they want to render.

It was created because I wanted to avoid an annoyance with batch rendering. When you want to do batch rendering for a scene with multiple cameras and settings, you have to make multiple copies of the document and each copy you save must have the specific camera and render setting you want rendered active.

If you want to use the same render setting but different cameras the output file will have the same name for each plus a number depending on which row the selection is in (1-10). The plugin will search the each selected document for up to 100 cameras and 100 render settings. It also shows you a preview of what is being rendered and indicates the % complete for that selection. The nice thing is that you can begin rendering everything, and minimize the preview and continue to do work.

The only limitations with it are that if you do not have the texture paths setup correctly nothing will render for that specific selection. Also if you close(not minimize) the main dialog box while rendering the current render will finish and none of the others will be completed.

I may release this plugin if people are interested. I just need to figure out how I would release it.

also don't forget to post the link to the plugin site in the resources-plugins thread at the top of the cinema forum.

And don't forget to send the info to Maxon. They have a news section where they might mention it.
