I just an ATI Radeon 9800pro and i was wondering if i'm supposed to see a difference when using cinema 4d. It doesnt seem any faster at all.

I know i see a very big(yes, very big difference) when playing games and all, but do the graphic acceleration only works on full screen applications?

Are you using version 8.1? If so, do you have OGL and hardware lighting enabled in preferences?

You will need 8.1 to see any real difference. It will be x10 fast roughly

Its quite funny - C4D R8 is quite a fast 3D package...can't wait to see it running when I get my new PC!
