View Full Version : Control Alpha Contribution of Mesh/Material?

I have a mesh which I want to render but not contribute to the alpha of the final render.
In the "Matte Opacity" section of the material node, there are 3 options to control this:
Black Hole
Solid Matte
Opacity Gain

Black Hole will cause the object to erase all of the alpha behind the mesh.
The other 2 have a slider to control the value, but it doesn't change the alpha in the render - the mesh still contributes 100% white (even though its transparent).
Anyone know how to fix this?
