I agree, they have one hell of a great summer and what's cooler is that every one of these movies are ambitious.

While Lucas owns ILM, I doubt he has a say in the making of the effects of these movies. Also showing him giving directions on Clone Wars is not relevant. Too much simplification and bowing to big names.

it's not just MSNBC, but across the board.
two other articles come to mind - the one about 140 TB of "memory" used to make Transformers 2 (apparently memory = storage = quality), and the other about how ILM does its magic thanks to "superfast computers."
what can you expect from an industry where gossip took center stage long ago.
anything that requires a bit of research and thinking is pushed aside.
