I have a model which i've created in 3ds max.. I also did the uv mapping in 3ds max. It has multiple textures for one mesh.
before generating the normal map:

altough my uv group seems correct, when generating a normal map from zmapper I get this:

also if I use the normal map option on the right in zbrush's main window it seems to be fine though.
also notice the map it generates on the first pic..it still respect the uv layout I made for the mesh..
I searched for a solution on this forum and others and found nothing of any help..

help me? thanks

Go to subtools menu and click GrpSplit button. Then create normal map for each polygroup.
