-working time:about a week, 2-3 hours a day, until the 8 th part everything was done in a night.
-software used:Painter 1.0 , Photoshop 7.0 & Photoimpact 8.0
-reference: a fashion magazine
-an 1000 dpi Wacom tablet
-over 20 l of water consumed
-over 100 hours of music
-3 packs of peanuts

This drawing was done accidentaly ,when I was playing in Painter. I've seen at many good artist that they used this technique: they would draw a very nasty head shape and then slowly they wore giving the final head form, details etc., but I thought that to be able to do this U would have to have all of the anatomy, perspective etc very well known...
As U can see in the first steps of the drwing although I've drawn the simetry axex the era look very wierd :) and I've totaly fourgot about the simetry...anyhow i'm not shure of the exact position of the ear in this perspective.I also don't like the lips ...
Well...hope U like it and i'm waiting 4 critics (constructive not distructive )the final result (http://www.infinity.go.ro/1.jpg)
and the making (http://www.infinity.go.ro/2.JPG)

Hm.... I think the eyes got some little mistake and the overall toning. And I agree with above about the fore head, looks like bold. ^^ But good work anyway.

Individually the features of the face are very nicely done, but as you know for yourself the position and angle of some of features are slightly off.

I used to do a lot of drawing when I was young, but I haven't done much for the past 8 years, so I need to refresh my knowledge again. So what I plan to do is use photos and make lots of sketches of faces and figures, add basic light and shadow, but not spend more than say an hour or so with each study.

I recommend you do the same; the more images you make the better, faster you get at it.
