CGTalk - Need help on visibility track

Hi, can someone please tell me how i can control the visibility of an object in layout? I need an object to be visible for certain period of an animation and then disappear. Something similar to Max's Visibility Track.

Object / properties / Render / Object Dissolve
Hit E button to access the enveloppe
