Hi there all.

I have a (hopefully) simple question for Max users.

In Maya if i selected a loop and removed the edges the vertexes that only effect that edge were also removed. ( at least this is how i remember it ) It was a different function than deleting the selection.

Is there a comparable function in Max 2010? I can select the loop and "remove" the edges but the vertexes still remain.
thanks!

cheers

Backspace deletes the Edges only, CTRL+Backspace deletes Edges and Vertices.

Thanks much.

That's interesting that delete and backspace are not the same function. This is very useful.

it is actually MUCH nicer to have delete work the way it does in max, so that you dont have to go into face mode to delete faces IMO.

i didnt know CTRL+Backspace deleted vertices and edges... i have been wondering why it didnt delete faces.. lol.

also in maya when i select an edge loop and delete it doesnt delete vertices there.
