Heya,
I was wondering if anyone had any tips or resources on how to corretly set up a good IK system for a tank model for a game.

The tank is cut up into these sections:
- Turret
- Body
- Cannon
- Cannon Hub ( a small bit between the cannon and the turret)
- R_front_thread
- L_front_thread
- R_back_thread
- L_back_thread
- R_threadguard
- L_threadguard ( a small cover over the front threads that moves a bit)

thanks for any help.
Toby.

How/why exactly are you desiring to use IK on a tank?

IOW, what's your main goal here... perhaps there's an easier/better way to approach it.

All four threads to work independantly, however also groups to control both the front ones and the back ones:
- 4 independant threads
- Group 1:front threads
- group 2: back threads
- Central axis for body of tank - Y Rotation
- Central axis for turret - Y rotation
- Central axis for cannon base - XY Rotation
- Cannon axis - Z Rotation
- Thread guard 1 - Z rotation
- Thread Guard 2 - Z rotation

Understand this?

I guys I should provide an Image for this, I'll try and get that done then.
Toby.
