View Full Version : Particle FXs
griffdrc 07-18-2003, 10:15 PM i'm haveing trouble trying to make words dissolve like dust blown by the wind... right now i'm using an FX-Emitter and setting it to the surface and applying a wind effector to blow the particles... the probablem is the particles aren't dense enough and don't fly/flutter like dust... any tips or tutorials would be great... thanxs

If you want to do it with pure particles then they will have to be very dense, or you could try increasing their size.

I was thinking in the lines of
http://www.dstorm.co.jp/DS_Plug/md2/md2demo/tutorial/c11/indexe.htm
or an adaptation of this
http://users.otenet.gr/~nixx/flame_tutorial.htm
(seem to have trouble getting this last page atm.)
