i can use this software for a composting project of mine but i haven't a clue how to use.

HDRI
GI
AO

i can use them with the C4D renderer but i don't get 3Delight integration with cinema 4D, we need some tutorials.

you need to use 3delight shaders not cinema's 4'ds shaders for any more advanced rendering effects. any 3D shader effect will need to use a 3delight shader only more simple 2D shaders like noises and checkerboard etc are supported automatically.

Get you programming cap on!!!

http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss_w_h_?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=renderman

There used to be a site called the renderman academy, there was lots of tutorials their, can't seem to find it anymore though.

You'll need to code all your complex shaders to 3delight specs then load these as a custom shader.

Things like AO, GI, Caustics even blobies are programmed directly in the shader I believe.

To be honest I'm not sure,

There was a open source material editor knocking around at one point - it was associated with the blendere to renderman pipeline - that may help you find it!!

But Air has a material editor that ships with it too, so I'd be surprised if 3delight doesn't.

Hello BlackRaven548.
I'm the same guy that replied to your post in the 3Delight forum. I'm glad you seem to be getting more response here.

About shader editors, did you check out shaderman? http://www.dream.com.ua/thetool.html

regards
/Filip
