View Full Version : Symmetric Brush Problem

Hi guys, I'm quite new in Zbrush; I turned on the symmetry option for the brush, but as you can see in the picture the two brushes are not aligned towards the center of my model, it seems the symmetry is a bit shifted, and so I can't use the symmetry properly :( (I turned on X symmetry and of course Y or Z don't work in my case).

The model you see in the picture comes assembling 7 obj files, modeled in Maya, imported and assembled in Zbrush using sub tools and if I use the ZBrush demohead the symmetry works fine, so I wonder if it could be related to the fact I import it from Maya

Hi! Try turn on Local symmetry feature. (Transform ->L.Sym).

Hi! Thanks for your reply! I re-imported all the objs and re-assembled them together and now the symmetry works properly...very strange...in anycase I solved my problem :)
