Hello,

I was originally meant to post this in the completed section but I don't think I can since I referenced this from a photo I found of the net so I'm guessing it isn't totally original.

I have WIP shots as well. I only did black & white because I always felt I was quite weak at coloured drawings so I decided to get back to basics and work on trying to get my values right first.

sorry about the images being a little large as well.

I need some help with doing hair since mine looks pretty bad.

I've been trying out 15 minute sketches here and decided to go on to 2 hours for this one.

very nice so far, i think it would be worth spending some more time tightening it up tho, the jaw line, ear lobe and hair parting etc, also the back of the neck looks unnatural to me i your basing it off a photo but maybe some creative license is in order to make it look a bit more feminie?

well, atually i'm a newbie here. the system asks me to finish 2 posts so as to obtain full privileges in this forum. So i just pick a random thread to reply and this is it.

The WIP is doing very well. The girl you are working on is vivid and impressive.
but i think you can also do something more than just copy the photo. or maybe you will do that later. let's wait and see.

Thanks for posting the WIPs. I'm starting out on Photoshop, and it helps to see your prorgression. I get so frustrated and I don't even work for 2 hrs on 1 piece. This teaches me to be patient and take it a stroke at a time. That there is an end result to patience and dedication. Work on it more if you will like to, but if I did this at 2 hrs, I'll consider it done. For me, this would be a great accomplishment. Nice work and thanks again.
