you really should check the Maya docs before posting a question like this. I am sure it is there. Hold down the "c" key and it will snap to curves. Read up on it.

yeah, to snap two curves u just press c and drag ur curve end.
However, after ur done with ur curve, if u want to snap it to a diff place and such, activate "snap to points" command which is located on the top of ur maya screen, but for this command to work u have to have ur edit points showing up on a curve. To do that go to window/settings/preferences/preferences/ then find NURBS and enable "edit points" under "new curves" slot.
Now u can snap your curves together.

if its for the purposes of building birail surfaces, you might find my railSnap script useful. it snaps your profile crv end pnts to the rails, and maintains that intersectn whilst you edit and move the crvs arround. find it on highend3d, under modelling.
