Hey everyone.
I just graduated from Academy of Art University grad. program in San Francisco. "Masquerade" is my final thesis film which I completed in about 3 months and my demoreel consists of animation pieces that I've been working on for the last year and a half. Any critiques or comments are always helpful.

Just wanted to share, hope you enjoy!

i love the humanity you put in your work. great stuff.

quick crits:

shot 1, have them walking at the beginning, maybe she grabs him to get his attention. just feels a little staged to start.

last shot, around 0:52 her hand action feels slightly rushed and a little wobbly. maybe youre keying a constraint there? might sag her head in that action as well, to push the sadness a little further?

i like your camera work in your short too. your demo cameras are all static though.

cant wait to see more!

thanks abazaba! sorry for the late response.

I'll try to get to those points, I'm just fixing up the work in progress shot in my demoreel right now. so that I have it all polished.

I agree on the camera work, everythings a bit static. I'll hopefully do an action shot soon where I can do some camera movement as well.
