View Full Version : Spline Deformation in Layout
Stoehr 07-18-2003, 04:43 PM Head over to http://www.flay.com for a new plugin for animating with splines in Layout! I was looking for something recently to give me another advantage to facial animation, or any animation for that matter, and here it something very similar.

If anyone can help me figure how to move the tangent handles, I'd appreciate it.

Stoehr: I haven't had much time to play with this, but here's what I've found so far:

Hope this helps!
*EDIT*
Doh! Just realized you were talking about the *tangents*, not the actual control points. Oh well.
Cheers!

By the way, this is the coolest plugin I've seen for Layout, right up there with the one that lets you do vertex animation in layout. And it is one tight plugin to boot...no crashes, intuitive and very interactive. Newtek should incorporate this into layout.
It's a breath of fresh air after seeing one too many plugs that do something Layout or Modeler already does...
but I should shut my mouth since I don't write plugs....
