View Full Version : exporting from maya to max ?

Hi i am working in a little project with ppl that
are using 3ds max 5, i am using maya 4.5
what type of export format should i use on the files?
we are working only on polygon modells, and i want to be
able to export the uvmapp and textures with the files, any idea?

You can use the fbx converter!!!

will try the fbx, will take a while to download only have an 28.8k modem lol :-)

ya, we've had nothing but succes with the fbx converter here at work when taking stuff from maya and exporting for use in max. go nutz man!!
