Hello Everyone,
The chatroom has been up now for a while, and at best we've had 10 people in the channel :) So far it's been mostly chit chat, and a few setup questions. But to my surprice we are lacking skilled Maya/Max users in there (!?!). Jason S. popped by the other day (which is rare, and I hope he'll drop by again soon).
So get logged on and chat a bit! it's for learning and to raise the bar in the community :) The more we share the better we all get (and the better our animations will become).
You need an IRC client to access this.
Windows: http://www.mirc.com/
MAC OS X: http://www.ircle.com
Linux: http://xchat.org/ (should come with your distro)
connect either of these:
irc.freenode.net
herbert.freenode.net
more servers can be found here:
http://www.freenode.net/irc_servers.shtml
In the commandbar type:
/j charactersetup
That will get you into the chat channel #charactersetup
see you all there
