I've built me a robot, with joints (not one solid mesh), and was wondering if anyone knew of how I could rig it, Perhaps some tutorials on wiring and perhaps adding bones to a robot?

Thnks in Advance!

It's actually quite simple.

Don't use skin of physique.

Simple create your rig, and then link the parts of the robot to the appropriate bone.

Conversly, you can also ust the actual parts of the robot as bones.

Have a look in the manual for this feature. "Links as bones".

Best of luck.

Thanks alot Mr 3DZealot! That's the direction I needed, the only problem I've encountered thus far is getting the joints to rotate within the right dimensions, but I've discovered constrain works well!

You can also set some of those features within the IK panel.

Glad it's working out for you!
