Okay I'm not sure if any one can remember wayyyyyy back to the post apocalyptic challange here on CG talk.....but I had a character in it called deadgirl.
since those humble days and nights I've been modeling no stop ... So I took my old drawings and desgins and thought to bring her back....
so deadgirl is resurected new and hopfully improved....
but first I'll post the old images to give you some thing to compare this WIP with.....

looking good, but i think the upper body is way to long if you compare it to the legs. Fix the proportions and it will be niiice :D

I agree with enzodiac: the stomach area is where the torso really looks long. I think the hips should be slightly higher too... bu it may get fixed by just srinking the stomach in length.
that really looks cool though:D

well bro you know I love your work..and you always keep me motivated to do more work myself..but this is not looking very feminine yet. Especially in the textures and lightling...its not working.. but I know you..you;ll nail it off. Anyways drop me an email or give me a call bro..havent talked for awhile..

I agree with Spirit2029 the textures kind of make her look like a bald boy...:shrug:
You may need to accentuate the female features of the face a little more to help as well.
I like the eyes and the nose... very nice:D

I know this might seem a bit off, but I dig the old textures on her as well. Gives some awesome emotion. Could just be the combination of everything, Definite improvements on the quality of realizm on the new textures though.. good stuff.

first off, obviously, this is AMAZING model! GREAT job! :beer:
but what REALLY got me is the resemblence of the "old" deadgirl texture to gwenyth paltrow as margot in the royal tenenbaums!

Hi, nice work... can you post a wireframe.. looks like you have some issues around the nose maybe.
also the nostrils seem really large.
her torso looks like it might be a tad too long... you might want to look into that. but looking good... nice overall form to her body.

yah taht is a great look on women i think. that look from tenenbaums.this girl i know called it...i dont konw some drug reference. its a perfect name. sorry i cant think but i like that look.

wow, her clothes are coming along really well.:thumbsup:
I like the leather texture and the rust. Her face is still bothering me though... I think her cheekbones are too pronounced. Also her nostrils look huge in the pictures, but it could just be the lightning.
I notice her lips look a little more red than before... nice. I'm not really sure that she needs that mole though, and it almost looks like she's got some stubble on her upper lip because of the grayish coloration.
Anyway, lookin' good :D

Excellent work broken_cycle!! Although I still love the old girls eyes, they are so big and expressive! The new model is coming along great! The body is looking really nice and the head textures are coming along alright. Have you plans for hair? I think that would change her look alot...I do agree with some of the crits on this female looking a bit rough. I'd still like to see the big eyes on this new model. :). Keep up the fantastic work...I really enjoy watching all your characters progress.

looking great man..really like the new additions..
the boot straps should wrap right around the boot...
the hands look huge..ill assume you wanted that...but maybey add in a strap around the wrist to make them more belevable..
a holstered gun slung around the right leg with straps to that neat belt around the waist would add a nice touch to the lower body..
and lastly..the upper arm seems really long compared to the lower arm...maybey just scale those bones to fix?

Well, judging by how far up her cap is, she would definitely have some hair sprouting out of her forhead above the goggles.
What type of job does she have? That could really have an affect on the hairstyle... like if she was a soldier, she might have a shaved head or a really short haircut...:shrug:

Great stuff man, gotta hand that to ya.
About the anatomy I wont comment on everything since Im like a zombie right now (tired) but the upper arms are way to long. as for rigging I would like to see the rig, do an xray of it.. something is looking wrong at the hip, looks like the upperlegbone is too far down. your wire looks pretty solid btw :) and your leather texturing is really really cool.
About hair, I dont know really, I would go for some really short shaved stuff, and maybe redesign the cap to show it some more.. maybe even give her some spikes ?
well it turns out the the bike model went really fast and now she's got her self a ride......
I'm planing on a more mad max type thing so I'll be adding alot to the model......and the girl too

the bike looks a bit small to me. And maybe look at the eyebrow geometry for how well it deforms.

Great looking model but i have to say it the hands look very odd to me...To big ....
cool model thou....I was going to model a bike with my female .But if i do that now you guys may think that i was copying your idea...

bike seems kinda rushed... I want to see it have as much detail as the girl (it doesnt even have a headlight) but also, I think the exhaust system is weird.... I don't know how well it would work, I think the comment about the bike looking "too small" is because, there is usually a bit more support in the back, and then the exhaust goes under or on the side of that tail support.... but, it seems like you've just taken out the tail, and just put the exhaust pipes and a little cover over them. :surprised
but all in all, its all supreme work... I'm trying to learn character rigging myself (in maya) at the moment, and its excruciating. :hmm: Great work! Keep it up...
