This is my 1st serious attempt at organic modeling (and, later, animation) after so many environments and architecture. Here is a preliminary model. I appreciate suggestions.

I would round more of the angles, like on the wings, hind legs and such.

the tail looks short, like a dog's. I personally would make it longer.

party on!

Well, you have the basic idea, but it looks like a horse, hehe.
I'd say if you can keep as many elements as you can, just modify the body shape to look more like a lizard (like this (http://www.tripsource.com/images/photos/Michelle/SriLanka/monitor1.jpg) ) if that's the kind of dragon your aiming at. However, dragon body shapes vary wildly from person to person, or religeon to religeon. Are you after a dinosaur like dragon, maybee or perhaps a snaky dragon like the one from "NeverEnding Story"?

If you do a google search for dragon images, that will give you a start.

Hope this helps, keep up the good work

Thank you very much for the feedback! I am aiming for more of a dino-like look, with agile body, rather than lizard-like. Before starting, I reviewed many drawings and images over the web, and liked the slender versions more than the bulky ones. Just a matter of preference, I suppose... Here is another shot.
Right now I have been working on the skin and rigging. I am using rigid bind, mostly because I read a tutorial on it... maybe it isn't the best choice, I don't know. I wonder if anybody can help me with a problem: I have rigged the left half of the body, by setting weights, flexors, clursters, etc. Is there a way to just mirror the whole work to the right side rather than having to redo it all over again?
