can you fix the link so I can see this? I would love to see what the strat looks like and if you have a reference pic I'd like to see that too.

Some things I would like to know is what year strat are you modelling after? I believe th 60's strats had an oversized headstock (I can't remember off the top of my head).

If you aren't making any specific one and just have a general reference pic I CAN point out a couple that you can model after such as Hendrix, SRV, Eric Clapton, Richie Sambora, Yngwie Malmsteen, Jeff Beck....all have distictive styles on their strats internally or externally...basic point I was making is attention to detail.....simply because I want to see this model =)

nice material on the body but it needs to have the light shined more....also whenever you're looking at a guitar's finish you're going to see a reflection that isn't blurred or distorted in any way like yours is right now. my Gibson Les paul has a black finish on it....

For a reference of this guitar there is a picture of Eric Clapton's guitar at www.fender.com as well as other guitarists and the descriptions of what is on them.

I'd like to see a close up of the headstock with the nut.....

I also need to comment about the frets on the fretboard, you have some that are too close together in the wrong places. The frets get closer to each other as you get closer to the body of the guitar. if you look closely at the body end of the fretboard you'll see what I'm talking about.

Now when you get a good standard model.... scallop the fretboard ;)

your english is very good! it's better than some people who speak only english! :)

as for the guitar -- i remember someone did a stratocaster a few months ago. i guess it's a very popular guitar then. i have never seen a stratocaster in real life so i can't compare it to a real one, but it looks very.. guitar-y.

hey tabababtayayayab,
you should do a new render from the frets looking down the neck. upclose , i modeled a fender about a year and rendered. but waht im telling you is just how i rendered mine. its a nice look. just a new angle were you can see it more would be neat.

I also need to make one more comment about the fretboard...

on most guitars the fretboard is gonna be I guess you would say concave? I'm not sure of the word...what I mean is when you look down the fretboard you'll see its gonna have one longwise slightly hump in it....though there are some guitars that have flat fretboards also, I'm not sure if fender makes that fretboard....

and I was right about the 60's headstock being extra large, that was the decade they were oversized the rest were normal size fender headstocks....

I'm looking forward to the next update on this guitar as well as the closeup of the headstock and machineheads.

I like the canary yellow reminds me of Yngwie Malmsteen's fender....

fretboards are still kind of messed up though the spacing between the frets.... other than that, they're really good
