He reminds me of one of the members of that old 80's boyband, New Kids On The Block :)

Hmm... crits... I'd say that perhaps his head looks a little squashed. Then again, that's not so much unrealistic, rather just personal taste :)

The hair looks nice, but the hairline above his left ear could maybe do with a little more detail.

The lips also look a little bit too smooth.

y'know what.... it looks too raw (lack of better word) to my eye.

Something about the whole face is kinda...funny

I think it's the abscense of details in the eyes. You can get away with so little detail in the face, but definately NOT the eyes. I like the feel/composition of the whole thing, but personally, I would burn/darken the areas where the skin turns away from the camera more (add more volume).

Also think about a slightly warmer pallet all around.

That said, I think it's great draftsmanship, with some polish, this can be a pretty acomplished piece.

keep it up!

Nice portrait, I agree with Leigh though, it does also remind me of an80-90s boy band. I think that the facial highlights are really competing with the white upper left corner, I would tone down that a bit and maybe change the color altogether. The red really falttens out the image a whole lot, maybe use some kind of cool color like a generic combo pf blue/green. The nose also seems a bit funny to me.

hey thanks for the replyes... I agree with all of you and I will work about it. I wanted to make the picture looks like a hand painted pic but however I have to get some more details.

here's another version. I tried to make the face stronger :-) ! Some color corrections and contrast.
