hey guys this is a small clip I recently finished for a personal project. The audio is temporary and very rough, I just threw it in there to get a feel for what I want for the final. Hope you like it.:)

Very nice. I saw this piece in an earlier state, and you've definitely progressed. Nice smack on the little guy! And yes, excellent music choice.

Can't wait to see more, Tubster!

Very nice tubby. I want to see more!!! When you planning on getting more of it finished and do you plan to post more teaser clips as you go? I'm really digging the style you have going on with it.

Keep this stuff coming!

Jamie

Edit: Can you give us some info on the story?

thanks Angel O'Death for the compliments!
Crumply, hey man, thanks for writing, your comments mean a lot:)
Rogue, thanks man! I don't have much more to show, I got some other shots done, but arent rendered out yet. I'm planning to treat this project as a series of excercises, I'll just do shot by shot and post them as I go. My wife and I are working on it together, but only on the side, so it might take a while. The storyline basically revolves around the search for shade in the desert. These two characters confront each other and fight over the last remaining shade in the area. Dont want to give any more away, but thats basically the story. It's called "107.6 Degrees", the temperature at which brain damage occurs.

thanks guys ! unlikelyhero, thanks man, the lighting is just GI in 3dsmax, i think a lot of it is the colors, I just tried to make it as eye candy as I could. hey, I'm a big fan of your work "Darkened", inspiring stuff.
thanks Biped, can't go wrong with polka! hey, awesome animation on your site by the way, I was cracking up on the exploding present clip, great stlye in your comedy.

Very nice cartoony movements. Nothing to crit. Personally, I don't dig much the main character, but the animation is very well done, in the style of the old good cartoons.

Finish it so we can all enjoy the complete short!
