View Full Version : How to redrect PFsource1 to PFsource2 emmiter
muzbee3d 05-14-2009, 07:54 PM Trying to figure out how to send parts from an event in PFsource1 to PFsource2. The issue is there a KY trail render effect is on the PFsource1 and when there is a spawn event, need for the kytrail to end with the new spawned parts keep going with no KYtrail effect, seems the only way is to send it to a new PF emmiter.
Can this be done ?

Hi, I have never used the KYtrail effect before, but most render effects can be controlled using object ID. In the Particle View, you can right click on certain events and change the Object ID for just that event, in this way you can control which events get the render effect and which ones don't.

Will need to check to see if parts can switch IDs on contract with a deflector too.
