Rendered with mental ray in max 10

I am looking for advice on how to make the lighting this scene appear more realistic.

Currently I have 15 omni lights where the florescent ceiling lights are. Alone these don't put out much light.

I have 2 photometric lights targeted at the car.

Any advice on improving my approach would be much appreciated.

First of all, try making the edges of your car model softer, so the reflections of the light don't terminate in nothingness.

Also, check out some info (just google it) about linear workflow. For me it improved the realism of my renderings greatly.

Add DOF on your camera and put more realistic texture on your floor instead of flat gray.....because your shadows are less visible on gray color....again in mental ray settings (if you've used) go for Michel filter (or post a screenshot of your current settings if possible)....add ambient occlusion pass and composite in AE or Photoshop
