CGTalk - max 9 garbage collecting

is there a way to see where max is having the problem when it pops up with "max had an error during the garbage collection process"

i have a tool that worked find on Xp, but now that i switched to Vista, its going nuts...nothing in the tool has changed.

Is there anything i can do to fix/debug this problem?
