Yeah.... this might be a good game. I'm keeping an eye on this one.
I just hope there are no framerate issues like in GTA IV. I don't play GTA IV just because of those framerate issues. I hate it. I get distracted by it.
If this game is the same, I won't buy it. If it flows nice and smooth, there is a good chance I'll get it.

looks pretty sweet.
superb horse model, I can see the muscle works very well.
I love wild west kind of theme, it's a big twist for rockstar to make this kind of style.
Can't wait.

I wanted to get GTA 4 for pc but keep hearing about issues.
Maybe I'll get Red Dead Revolver even though its a few years old.
I liked the Spaghetti western feel to it.
And I miss playing a GTA type game after San Andreas.
:(
If they released a San Andreas Stories I would have got it for sure.

I belive you when you say you don't see it. Most of my friends don't see it too, but I do. I notice this shit all the time. It is even on movies, but that's a little different.
I just notice this if it's there and it is really bugging me. I wish I could see it like everybody else.
Burnout Paradise is nice and smooth. I relax when I play this game, but it's getting a little old now.

That sucks, not everybody sees at the same frequency (not sure that frequency is the right word). I have a horrible time with certain fluorescent lights they strobe like crazy for my, but no one else sees it.

Looking forward to this one!
There definitely should be a lot more western games on the market.

Interesting. I have the same issues as well, in fact I find it really hard to watch Blu-rays because for some reason i feel like i can see the image changes and they're all really flickery when there's any movement, so i tend to just hire the dvd and upscale it on my PS3 which has a really good upscaling/motion smoothing codec or however they upscale.
SOOOOooooo looking forward to this game though, the last wild west game I enjoyed was Outlaws, there hasn't been a single one since which has managed to live up to that classic.

A little off topic now, but I just have to say that this is the same for me. I bought myself BBC's Planet Earth on BlueRay, but I am really struggeling with this framerate thing or whatever it is. I have however, seen something in 720p which was completly smooth. So I guess it has something to do with the cameras that capture it.
Anyway..... I'll keep an eye on this game and I sure am going to test it before I buy it to see if it runs smooth ;)

I thought red dead one looked great and this one looks even better. Not sure if there is a huge market for Westerns but I there should be. Just about every game in the genre has failed or not met expectations. Hopefully they lost the bizzare focus effect on this run.

Um... was anything in that trailer actual gameplay footage? Looked like just alot of pretty crap that I'd be skipping through in order to get back to the game.

Guess it depends what you expect to get out of the game. I usually only play open world games until I finish the story, I'm not so interested in wandering around without an purpose just killing and blowing stuff up.
