Hey all,
So I am trying to use a jiggle deformer on a NURBS object. The first time I simulate the jiggle, it'll work as expected -- but should I simulate a second time, even if I have not changed any settings, it will explode. Meaning, from the very first frame, the bits and pieces will leap up and have very high-frequency noise, some vertices even seemingly hitting NaN errors, getting placed randomly very far around the scene.
If I blow away the jiggle and re-create it, I can run the cache again, but I have to do so every time I make a change. I've made some convenience scripts to do this, but importing/exporting jiggle weight has proven quite annoying.
Does anyone have any experience with this? I have tried to rule out any weirdness due to our proprietary pipe at work.
Incidentally, softbodies provide equally weird (yet different) problems on the same object.
