View Full Version : Maya skeleton / model issue

I have a model that was created on too small of a scale. I scaled the model by selecting each of its parts. This worked fine. I then put a skeleton in it and bound the skin. When I progressed the timeline forward, ONE of the legs shrinks back to the original size and one of my wings flys off.

thanks for looking - any suggestions please? I have an image if you need one.

hi mate,

my presumption is that its a hierarchy issue with the xyz values. after you scale the mesh, try freeze transforming all of it and also clear your history. does that fix the problem?
