Hi all

For a 3D realtime indoor model I need to generate lightmaps

I used a lot the basic Render To Texture and light tracer function, but I 've got lots of problems with the RTT:
it crashes a lot if you select more then 20 objects and it's not really able to determine the size of the texture by itself.

I know that Vray and Final Render are able to do RTT. but I don't know them. Does someone try it on this renderers? how does it work.

What I need is to generate a good quality lightmap that can be reapplied automatically on the original 3DS max object and visible in the viewport.

Any help is apprecied
thanks

Vray Bake3D utility is on beta, if u do a mistake, max crashes :)
but when u know how to use it, it's quite useful.

See HERE (http://www.yamsplayground.com/v2/demo_v2.html) what i did with it.

(its a 2mb file, so be patient on black screen loader)
