View Full Version : One control keyng world coordinates, not local....

Hey there,

I have 3 spine controls, all similarly aligned. The top and bottom controls all key with local space, but when I put a key on the middle control, the X & Z values are those of world space. I've checked to make sure that the control's local rotation is zero and it is.

Here is a snippet of the hierarchy:

spine1_CTRL_ORIENT
+>spine1_CTRL
++>spine2_CTRL_ORIENT
+++>spine2_CTRL
++++>spine3_CTRL_ORIENT
+++++>spine3_CTRL

In this example, spine1_CTRL & spine3_CTRL all key "correctly", but spine2_CTRL keys in what appears to be world-space.

Any ideas on what could be causing this? Despite the naming convention, there are no constraints acting upon any of these controls.

Thanks,

Alec

Controllers are in local space, so unless its not parented to something - im not really sure whats going on.

Yeah, that's the goofy part. I'm at a loss as to why it'd spit out world coordinates.
Still investigating.

Thanks,

Alec
