View Full Version : Pyhsical Sun&Sky Night+Moon

I did a search and did find anything that helped me out.

Can someone explain to me how to use the Physical sun/Sky to create a Night scene and also have the moon visible? I know that you can change the type of day if you rotate the directional light .. but that moves the moon out of view from what I can see..?

Any help is appreciated.. Thanks

i use this mode.
If you use a RGB unit conversion 0.318 and exposure photografic. Set rgb unit conversion to 0.000000 and the multiply to 0.07-0.002. With this setting, the environment appear more slow brightness. After this a set the red|blue shift to the blue, little blue and set donw value of the saturation of the sky to 0.3 or 0.5. Notice that the multiplier with rRGB unit to 0.000, the control of the brigthness of the sky is in lux and you be control the multiplier as 127000 for a daytime clear more clear or 80000.

This is a simple test scene for moonlight. The control of the multipler of the sky, don't over 0.100. You be change the night color of the sky for the illumination of the environment.

Am gonna bump this beacuse i have been trying to do the same thing...i want a nice lighting model for night time and cannot work it out...was gonna use the physical sky...but want a nice glowing moon so thought maybe hand lighting might be better...taht to you think?
