I need help. I'm working on my short right now and kind of don't want it to look real. I really like "Fallen Art" by Tomek Bagiński which I found that the set/background were done by painting. So I plan to do quite similar. Problem is how can i gonna make it, i got not cue so please anyone hlpe me out or any tutorials would be great

Hello

1) storyboard film - write script as needed
1a) if dialog record, recording comes first and is animated to.

2) From your storyboard work out type, look, and number of backgrounds you need, do rough ups of backgrounds. Keep in mind later on you'll be animating against these.

3) Design and create simple (previz) characters needed based on your designs, and using these start working on your animations. You do not create finished backgrounds or models at this point, as blocking out your film you will in all likelihood find numerous adjustments are needed to both.
(On worrying about spending time using simple characters, your animating motion here, so you want to make sure you can see your work running at speed because the main concern you have is timing. And these animations can be saved as motion files that later can be applied to finished models).
3a) at this time you'll also apply your basic backgrounds to large flat polys to place in the background. check your animation against them, figure camera angles, etc...

4) During this time after deciding what changes are needed you'll be finishing up your final artwork. Replace the simple and reshoot.

Hope that helps some
