Can i use boolean with one poly and one subdiv. surface?
In cinema4d i can, but in maya i cant.
Do i it wrong?

Oh man, if your new to maya I'm afraid you are going to have to get used to the fact that Maya's boolean tool sucks. Not only is not cross compatible (poly/nurbs, polys/subd's) but when using them with poly you can expect some of the most screwed up geometry you've ever experienced. Compared to other boolean tools I've used (Rhino, Max) maya has a long way to go.
