Hi all!
Last week I created a thread in the Dynamics section but I guess this was the section I should have originally created it, so I think it won't do any harm if I ask my question here too (but if any moderator is watching this and thinks the other one must be deleted, please feel free to do it).
The thing is I'm totally new to character rigging and maya hair, and I'm making my first cartoony character. As it's a cartoony style I've managed to make her a nice hair using maya hair, very simple one: I made a poly scalp covering the head and attatched 17 hair follicles only in the rim of the scalp, with fairly long nurbs curves. Then lofted the curves and made a nurbs surface that once textured makes a nice cartoony hair. When I run the simulation, it actually acts pretty nice.
Now my question is... is there any way to rig that kind of hair to maybe scale the diameter of the whole hair bunch, put it over the shoulder, and so on...
I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, I really am totally new to rigging and hair, maybe someone can point me in the right direction with this...

I'm posting some images in case I didn't explained it properly...

thanks for your help.
pablo
