hey thats really cool,! i gotta brush myself using painter. One thing, you probaly don't have to take this into consideration but the element at the top of the staff just seems to carry no weight it just seems incomplete for some reason to me, maybe it would be better if it larger or shaped more like a primitive... but anyway good work overall.

I agree. It doesn't need to be larger though, just taller.

the detail in the left shoulder is magnificant, the hand holding the staff seems too big and the hand holding the book seems not to be holding a book.hope this helps. it could just be me though.:buttrock:

Personally I wish you just had a regular face and leave everything else as is in sketch 3 :p I despise the eye and the little cap thing or fake brain or whatever :p

Good job with the first picture, i don't like the head very much but clothes work is excellent, very well done and detailled!

His left hand is way too big, even he is wearing gloves.
Artistically, I think the mechanical eye looks cartoony, while the rest of the character has a much more classic design. For a more coherent impression, I would rethink that artificial eye-deal ... maybe he could be wearing some cool glasses instead?

You've done a really great job so far,

Cheers,
Gabriel

I have to agree about the eye and skull cover, those just don't look very good compared to the rest of your image.

I understand that the eye is larger because it is behind glass, it is being enlarged, but it doesn't "look" that way, it "looks" like a giant cartoon eye.

The skull cover just doesn't work imho, your self image looks good why mess him/you up? ;)

I would like it if it wasn't for that damn eye.
