my current work.....
i received a monster CAD dataset from the customer....... (inventor files)
thanks to 3dsmax that i can import the iam and ipt`s

now i work on 27 images (confugurations) and 3 animations for marketing and sales....

modeling:mechanical desktop, inventor
rendering: 3dsmax, finalRender Stage-1

It appears to be well constructed and highly detailed, obviously it would also need to be technically accurate. If I were to criticise anything it would be that the image is very sterile but this is probably what you are looking for.

nothing to say, well done...
but is ever possible that nobody left a coffee stain over it?
or a manual? or something else to break this clinical sense of clean?

i just started useing inventor 5.3 a copy i got from scholl and so far all i can say is it freakin rocks !!!!! can you give me any tips ?

Great model ! Lots of details. One thing : the chrome metal rod isn't very realistic. You should try to put an environement reflection on it so it'll be easier to see the relief of this piece. Anyway it brilliant ! :blowdown:

I agree, the chrome is way to reflective. Should it be chrome or stainless, maybe polished stainless?
otherwise very nice...
