Hello,

I wan't to know how i can i have the shadow for the compositing with the mentalray rendering (like the use background shader of maya)!!!

Because the use background not work when i do the render!!!

If sombody know how can i proceed that's very good!!!

the renderlayer works nice for me why u dont use the layer

maya has not the best render layer but it woks sometimes :) u can set it up in the render globals look in the help F1 iam not the friend of a step by step tuturial
