This illustration was done for the cover of my third book, "On the trail of dragons forgotten" (Sur la piste des dragons oubliés in french). It corresponds to a passage key of the book. when the hero is out of breath and waiting for a sign for continue his road. The jungle is dark and damp… and she is silent.

I like the environment, the rain, and the dragon. It's all very good. Will say this though. the highlights are a little too much on the dragon (too many in too many places). It's taking away from your sense of lighting and making the wings to 'sectional' and sharply designed. Beyond that, love the composition (good job using the flora and sucn to 'frame' the image). Also, good color pallete (I like how the complementary reds on the dragon, whose surrounded by the green and eathy tones). Great work.
