View Full Version : VRAY Animation pre-pass and render question
bariscan90 05-04-2009, 07:49 PM Hi everyone.I have 3200 frame to animation and i need to use gi for fumefx so i wondering if i use animation pre-pass and animation render,my render time would be decrease good?As i saw when we are using animation pre-pass the render time looked me as lenght as single frame mode.So why we doing that it seems the same render time.Am i did wrong somewhere?I used 1. irradience map and 2.none with high quality.Sorry for my english.Thank you for reply

The prepass is not to decrease render time, is to avoid flickering. What you can try is to use a medium settings, with prepass sometimes you can use lower irradiance settings.
