Why does it get so blurry on the TV?

Check the FileNode where you load your image. You can put the FilterType to OFF or Mipmap. If you set it to Mipmap you should go to Effects and lower the Filter to something low like 0.2.

I tried it now, but it's still blurry

if you're rendering in mental ray, and you already turned off texture filtering on your file node, try changing your multi-pixel filtering to mitchell in your render globals
